Airtel > Call Management Services > Call Waiting / Call Hold
Call Waiting allows you to handle two calls at a time. You can be on one call, while the network will alert you about another incoming call. You can then put your first caller on hold, while you receive the second call.
The feature also works the other way around - it allows you to make a second “outgoing” call, while you are already on the phone with someone else
Activating Call Waiting
Option 1: To start using the service, go to the “Settings” menu in your handset, select “Call Settings”, and then select “Call Waiting” option. Now, select “Activate”.
Option 2: Alternatively, Call Waiting can be activated using keypad options:
Functions | Code |
---|---|
Start / Activate | *43# followed by Send |
Stop / Cancel / Deactivate | #43# followed by Send |

How does the feature work?

To reject incoming call | Press 0 followed by “SEND” |
To put current call “on hold” & “accept” waiting / incoming call | Press 2 followed by “SEND” |
