Airtel Stock Alert service is a mobile based application that allows you to get real time stock information of Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange. This application runs on JAVA enabled handsets.

How to register with Airtel Stock Alert?
- Send a SMS containing " REG " and send it to 6464
- You will receive a confirmation message with password, validaty period and a download link of java client
- Clicking the link to install your JAVA client in your mobile phone
- After installation open the Airtel Stock Alert application
- Login to the application using your mobile number as username and your password (obtained through SMS).
Note: Airtel internet is pre-requisite to avail the service.
How to unsubscribe from Airtel Stock Alert?
No need to unsubscribe, It will be automatically barred after 15 days.

Q: How can I add company in my Airtel Stock Alert application?
Ans: Go to Manage Portfolio -> Options -> Add Instrument
Enter the name or scrip of your desired company. Select CSE for 'Chittagong Stock Exchange' or DSE for 'Dhaka Stock Exchange'. Now check (put a tick mark) on the box calls 'Start search'. 'Airtel Stock Alert' will find first 10 (max) companies. You will see the matching scrips. Select your desired company(s) by selecting (putting tick) them, and press 'Add selected' from options.
Q: How can I remove a company?
Ans: Go to Manage Portfolio -> Select your desired instrument -> Options -> Remove Instrument Airtel Stock Alert will ask you for confirmation. Press 'Ok' to proceed, or press 'Cancel' to reconsider.

Q: What is "Alert"?
Ans: You can set an alert for a particular company. You will be notified by a SMS when the alert criteria match. For example if you set an alert for Desco say BDT 500. If the going price of Desco reaches BDT 500, you will get a SMS automatically and after that Alert service of Desco will be deactivated.
** Alert of a particular company will be active only 7 days.
Q: How can I set an alert?
Ans: Go to Manage Portfolio -> Select your desired company -> Option -> Set Alert
Type your desired price and press Ok.
Q: How can I use "What If" i.e. Profit/Loss Calculation?
Ans: You can estimate your current profit or loss of a particular share from this menu. Go to Manage Portfolio -> Select your desired company -> Options -> What if
Type purchase price and number of shares then press ok. User will get the information.
Q: How can I get "News"?
Ans: Go to Manage Info -> Read/Search News, Choose your desired exchange. Type the keyword if you have any. For example, type "desco" and press ok.
Press "Previous" or "Next" for previous and next news related to your keyword.
Q: How can I change "Settings" i.e. get Auto-scroll of latest prices from the portfolio?
Ans: Go to Settings. Mark Show Ticker and select an interval. Now press Ok from Options. Information will be updated after every selected interval.
Known Issues:
There are some reported handsets which have some known issues which prevent Airtel STOCK ALERT to run on these sets. They are Nokia 7610, Nokia 3230, Nokia MusicExpress 5800, Nokia MusicExpress 5320, Nokia N96, Nokia N78, Nokia N85, LG KE970, Samsung E730, Blackberry 8800 and, I-Phone.
Java Version: Supported MIDP version is 1.0 and onward.
APN settings: APN is Airtel Internet.
Tariff:
You will be charged BDT 75 (excluding VAT) at a time and it will be active for 15 days.
